Why? Let's look at the logic from the rest of the field:
Thompson is in complete denial about the state of our economy...
Giulliani is in complete denial about foreign policy and how it affects our relation with other nations. Oh, and that it kinda pisses off people when you occupy their land.
McCain believes that the only way to guarantee the health and safety of Americans is to keep our country at war for hundreds, if not millions of years. Oh, and he thinks we can fix our dependency on foreign oil virtually overnight by putting a band-aid on it.
Huckabee thinks that if we pay more for the shit we buy at the store, it will justify lowering income taxes and would therefore allow us to live in some sort of perverse harmony. That would be harmony between counterfeit currency and crappy imported goods.
Romney thinks that running a business is the same as running a country. Oh and that somehow the entire world is in the grip of some evil plot by muslim fascists to bomb even the penguins off the face of Antartica.
So who does that leave us with? Perhaps it's someone who this country needs... Right Now.
